Our goal in 2018 was to set the tone for what is to come in 2019 for Speak Loud Incorporated as the in-house non-profit for our sister brand, Priceless Planning. We knew we had big shoes to fill if we wanted to achieve this during Quarter Three.
When word came in from Alexa Carlin, founder of the Women Empower Expo in Fort Lauderdale, we knew we had our answer. Once our President and Founder Sidjae Price pitched the idea of hosting a teenpreneur expo – inside the women’s expo – we hit the ground running.
This event has solidified Speak Loud Incorporated as a leader in the teenpreneur movement and we hope that with your help, we can continue to show our support to teens like Tatyanna Monet, Aleyna Harris, and Shanese Wright, as well as kidpreneurs like Jojo, Air, and Brookie.
Below is a breakdown of our campaign and important financial information. If you would like to see some behind the scenes on our event, please visit this page.

Financials & Donations
- We raised over $3400 in donations from our corporate sponsors, as well as our virtual donors through both our website, as well as through our GoFundMe page.
- Kendra Scott (kendrascott.com) was kind enough to donate 20% of all sales received on October 12th in their Mizner Park, Boca Raton location towards our cause.
- These funds covered the cost of the booths for the event, as well as event ticket admissions, gifts on behalf of our organization to the teens, lunch, and dinner for our day-of volunteers, signage and keychains for the day-of donors. We were also able to fly in one of our teenpreneurs, Tatyana Monet, from Texas to attend the event.
- During our event, our teenpreneurs were able to raise $1500 ($500/each) as seed capital for their respective businesses. These funds were collected by the teens and their parents and guardians during the event and are excluded from the previously mentioned $3400.00
We couldn’t have done any of this without your invaluable support and that of the teen’s family, friends, and loyal supporters which include teachers and administrators. We have truly created something magical by hosting this event and we already have plans for the Class of 2019.
