Founder/President Sidjae T. Price
Sidjae T. Price has been partaking in community service engagements since the age of 12. Since then she has given back to the community through volunteering at the Salvation Army by reading to the blind, feeding the homeless, conducting and organizing back to school drives, and summer programs, participating in a mission trip to Cuba to donate school supplies to underprivileged children, and more. While this is just merely a brief synopsis of community engagement for Ms. Price, it is obvious that she has been aligned to contribute something valuable to the nonprofit sector of the world.
Ms. Price’s educational background consists of a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Psychology and Entrepreneurship, and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization a Legal Perspective from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Humanities Arts and Social Sciences. Currently, Ms. Price is pursuing a doctoral degree in Conflict Resolution.
With incorporating this organization Ms. Price stated, “My desires are that more assistance programs are put in place to help those youth who want to go to college, start a business, needs a mentor and more. I believe that today’s youth can remain out of the criminal system if they are made aware and showed how to use the success tools that exist.”
Secretary/Director: Daveisha M. Price
Daveisha M. Price has been actively working with community youths for the past 8 years. Ms. Price is currently a Certified Child Development Associate, which is an imperative stepping stone to participating in Early Childhood Education. She has worked with Sunshine Aftercare School Program as a Counselor and was later promoted to Assistant Manager. Currently, Ms. Price is a Lead Teacher at a kids academy in Broward County.
Her decision to be a part of this organization comes from a deep passion and admiration for kids, in conjunction with the natural tendency to want to help them get to the next level. Ms. Price is currently attending Broward College where she is completing her Bachelors of Arts in Education.
Treasurer/Director: Traquila M. Hernandez
Traquila M. Hernandez is the oldest of 7 siblings and has always had a passion and connection for our youth. Mrs. Hernandez has attained her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and has worked for the Broward and Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. Mrs.Hernandez discovered her calling to work with youth when she was presented with the opportunity to be the Assistant Sunday School Coordinator at Pentecostal Tabernacle of North Miami.
Mrs.Hernandez has tutored, worked on, and designed a multitude of artistic activities for children at Pentab Academy. While at Pentab Academy she also did missionary work and mentored young boys and girls in the city of Opa Locka. She later went on to be the Service Lead for Children at 24-hour fitness. Here she once more became a tutor, mentor, and inspired the children that she crossed paths with. She also helped these children to work on different projects for physical fitness training. Her decision to be a part of this organizations stems from the urge to continue to live out her passion for working with the youths of our community.
